Turns out the second child does get cheated out of a lot right off the bat :(  I haven't had a chance to update pics or blog since January...back when Gavin was 9 months old. Sorry buddy. Little Gavin has hit the single digit marker - he turned 1 last week!  We had a great little birthday party for him at home with lots of balloons, friends and family. Thanks Grammy and Mike for making the trek for the party. It goes without saying that we have our hands full now with a 1 and 2 year old. Gavin is close to walking, but has no problem climbing up the stairs when we forget to put up the gate (thankfully Big Brother...aka Gabe likes to tattletale already so we get a heads up really quick that Gavin is climbing up the stairs). Personality wise our two sons are day and night. Life will be interesting and fun with these two! Gavin is the jokester already and has a hilarious cheesy smile (see new pics) and Gabe is pretty much ready to write his college entrance paper...alright he can only write A, M, O, P, T and sometimes a Y...but you get the picture. Ahhhh...and Gabe is getting his bilingual skills down - sweet- Thanks Abuelos :) Ken is off enjoying his first guys trip and I'm doing so much home redecorating while he is gone; hope he doesn't trip over the new furniture! I'm still working (thankfully) and have gotten a chance to do a bit of traveling for work, which have  actually been nice little vacations from diapers and bottles. I cut my hair super short - not loving it, but it wil grow out. I'm just happy I got the nerves to chop it all off once in my life.
